1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the WorldTunnel VPN mobile application (the “App”) and the VPN services we provide through it (“Service”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App or the Service.

WorldTunnel VPN reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make significant changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice within the App where appropriate.

2. Eligibility and account

You may use the App only if you are legally allowed to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. By using WorldTunnel VPN, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you will comply with all applicable laws when using the Service.

The App may use identifiers and information associated with your Apple ID, managed by Apple, to verify purchases and subscriptions. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and your Apple account credentials.

3. Description of the service

WorldTunnel VPN provides a virtual private network service that routes your internet traffic through remote servers. This can help improve the privacy of your connection and allow you to choose a virtual location from a list of servers available in the App.

While we strive to maintain a stable and secure connection, the availability of specific server locations, speeds, or features may change over time. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis and may be modified, updated, or discontinued without prior notice.

4. Subscriptions, trials, and auto-renewal

WorldTunnel VPN may offer paid subscriptions that unlock premium features or remove certain limitations. Subscription offerings, durations, and prices are displayed in the App and in the App Store interface.

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. When you confirm a purchase, your chosen payment method linked to your Apple ID will be charged. In some regions, we may offer free trials or introductory offers. Unless otherwise stated, these subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time by going to your Apple ID account settings on your device or in the App Store. Deleting the App from your device does not cancel an active subscription, and we are not able to cancel it on your behalf.

5. Refunds and purchase information

Refunds for in-app purchases and subscriptions are handled in accordance with Apple’s refund policies. As the payment transaction is processed by Apple, we do not issue refunds directly.

In certain situations, Apple may request additional information from us to review a refund claim. In order to help Apple evaluate such a request, we may provide them with limited details related to the use of paid features. This can include aggregated or anonymized information such as overall app usage duration, an anonymous internal identifier associated with the account, the total amount spent within the App, and the total amount previously refunded for that account.

This information is shared solely for the purpose of processing the refund request and is not used to personally identify you or to target you with advertising. We do not provide Apple with detailed browsing history or the content of your VPN traffic.

6. Permitted use

You agree to use WorldTunnel VPN only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or inhibit their use and enjoyment of the internet. You must not use the Service to:

  • Engage in illegal, harmful, or fraudulent activities;
  • Distribute malware, conduct hacking, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data;
  • Send spam or unsolicited communications in violation of applicable laws;
  • Violate intellectual property rights or other proprietary rights;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of networks or services.

We reserve the right to take reasonable steps, in line with applicable law, to protect the integrity of the Service and the security of our infrastructure.

7. No data transfer to third parties for advertising

We do not share user data with advertising companies for their own purposes, and we do not sell or rent your personal information. Our focus is to maintain a functional VPN service rather than to build an advertising platform.

Any technical processing of data occurs only to provide, maintain, and improve the Service and is guided by our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, graphics, text, and other content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to install and use the App solely for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App except as permitted by applicable law. You also may not remove or alter any copyright notices or other proprietary markings.

9. Disclaimers

While WorldTunnel VPN aims to enhance your privacy and security, no VPN can guarantee complete anonymity or protection in every situation. The Service may be affected by factors outside our control, such as your own device configuration, network conditions, or third-party actions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, WorldTunnel VPN and its owners, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

If, despite the limitations above, we are found liable to you for any damage or loss, our total aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service during the twelve (12) months immediately prior to the event giving rise to the claim, or, if no such payments were made, a reasonable equivalent as permitted by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using WorldTunnel VPN at any time by uninstalling the App and, if applicable, canceling your subscription through your Apple ID account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms or are using the App in a way that could harm the Service or other users.

Termination of access does not automatically entitle you to a refund. Any refund requests remain subject to Apple’s refund policies and processes.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws that apply in the jurisdiction where our developer account is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Depending on your country of residence, consumer protection rules may grant you additional rights.

Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the use of the Service should first be addressed by contacting us so that we can attempt to resolve the matter informally.
