Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how WorldTunnel VPN (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the WorldTunnel VPN mobile application (the “App”). Our goal is to provide a secure VPN service while respecting your privacy and keeping data collection to a minimum.

WorldTunnel VPN is designed so that your browsing activities, the content of your traffic, and the websites you visit are not stored by us. We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not share information with third parties for advertising purposes.

2. Data we do not collect

Our VPN service is built around the principle of limiting data wherever possible. In particular, we do not:

  • Collect or store the content of your internet traffic;
  • Record your browsing history or the domains you visit;
  • Log your DNS queries in a way that identifies you;
  • Create profiles about your online behavior for marketing;
  • Sell or transfer personal information to data brokers.

The App processes network data in order to transmit your traffic through the VPN tunnel, but this happens in real time and is not used to build a long-term record of your activities.

3. Information we may process

To operate the App and provide a stable connection, we may process limited technical information. This information is handled with care and is not used to directly identify you as a natural person.

Examples of information that may be processed include:

  • Basic device information such as device model, operating system version, and language settings;
  • Non-identifying diagnostic information to measure performance, such as connection success or failure, approximate ping, and error codes;
  • The IP address of the VPN server you choose and the time required to establish the tunnel.

This information is used only to maintain and improve the functionality of WorldTunnel VPN, such as helping us understand whether a particular server or version of the App is working reliably.

4. Subscriptions and in-app purchases

WorldTunnel VPN may offer auto-renewable subscriptions or other in-app purchases. All purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store and are subject to Apple’s own terms and payment rules.

We do not receive or store your full payment card number or other sensitive billing details. Instead, we receive high-level information from Apple that a transaction has been completed, the type of subscription you selected, and its status (for example, active or expired).

This information allows the App to determine whether premium features should be unlocked on your device. It is not used for any other purpose and is not shared with external advertising networks.

5. No transfer of user data to third parties

We do not transfer user data to third-party companies for their own independent use. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. Our service is focused solely on providing the VPN functionality described in the App.

In limited cases, we may use service infrastructure such as hosting providers and data centers to operate our VPN servers. Such infrastructure is used strictly under our control and is configured with the goal of avoiding storage of personal user data and minimizing any temporary technical logs.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

The WorldTunnel VPN mobile application does not rely on traditional browser cookies. However, the App or related websites may use local storage or similar technical mechanisms for purposes such as remembering your settings or presenting content in your preferred language.

These mechanisms are used only to support the service and are not used to track you across other apps or websites for advertising.

7. Children’s privacy

WorldTunnel VPN is intended for general use but is not directed to children under the age required by local law to provide consent to data processing on their own. If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that your child has used the App without your permission, you may contact us so that we can provide assistance where possible.

8. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information processed by the App. This includes restricting access to internal tools, using encryption where appropriate, and periodically reviewing our practices.

No system is completely immune to risks, but our intention is to keep your information protected and to avoid collecting more data than is necessary for the service to function.

9. Your choices

You can control many aspects of the App directly from your device. For example, you can choose whether to stay connected to the VPN, which location to use, or whether to keep the App installed on your device.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you should stop using WorldTunnel VPN and uninstall the App. You can also manage or cancel any subscriptions directly in your Apple ID account settings.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect changes to our service, legal requirements, or internal practices. When we make significant changes, we will adjust the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice within the App where appropriate.

Continued use of WorldTunnel VPN after an update means that you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
